It’s Sydney’s version of Hansel & Gretel with a sweet trail weaving through the CBD. Chase your sugar high on a Cupcake & Dessert Walking tour. You’ll travel VIP to some of the sweetest destinations in town. WARNING! This tour is not for the faint hearted, only those who can handle a serious sugar overload need apply. Kick off at Hyde Park and wander through the city to six different sugar loaded venues. Cupcakes, gelato and macaroons are just a couple of the delights you’ll be dealing with. You’ll be grateful for the walk between locations to make room for more sugary goodness during the three hour tour.

About

Sydney Weekender, hosted by Mike Whitney, is now in its 24th year!
Travelling around the city and throughout the length & breadth of the state, each episode investigates the best places to stay, eat and play so you can make the most of your weekend.

After retiring from international cricket, Mike first appeared on Sydney Weekender back in 1994, and since then has loved every minute of it.

Over the years, Mike has hosted Sydney Weekender from all over New South Wales; from Eden in the south, to Tibooburra in the far northwest of the state.

One of Mike's favourite moments was when he had the chance to fly in a fully restored De Havilland Vampire fighter jet at the Temora Aviation Museum. "The pilot opened the throttle and sent the Vampire vertical," he says, "It was such a blast - the whole time I was thinking - I've got the best job in the world."

Sydney Weekender is on every Sunday at 5.30pm on the Seven Network in Sydney, and across N.S.W. & the A.C.T. on the PRIME Network. It's repeated a week later on 7TWO.

We're also on 7TWO on Saturdays - Please check your local guide for times.
