Sydney is full of amazing restaurants but it’s tricky to know where to find an authentic meal. Luckily, there’s Wee Lynn Teo at Feasting in the Know. She runs food tours where you can eat, order and shop like a local insider. You’ll venture beyond the city’s usual tourist traps and head to places like Burwood. Slurp down ramen, snack on dumplings and sweeten the tour with a salted caramel hot chocolate. No one leaves hungry and Wee Lynn is also full of fun facts so you’re getting a dose of culture too. Say goodbye to food envy because with this tour you’ll always have the best dish of the table.

About

Sydney Weekender, hosted by Mike Whitney, is now in its 24th year!
Travelling around the city and throughout the length & breadth of the state, each episode investigates the best places to stay, eat and play so you can make the most of your weekend.

After retiring from international cricket, Mike first appeared on Sydney Weekender back in 1994, and since then has loved every minute of it.

Over the years, Mike has hosted Sydney Weekender from all over New South Wales; from Eden in the south, to Tibooburra in the far northwest of the state.

One of Mike's favourite moments was when he had the chance to fly in a fully restored De Havilland Vampire fighter jet at the Temora Aviation Museum. "The pilot opened the throttle and sent the Vampire vertical," he says, "It was such a blast - the whole time I was thinking - I've got the best job in the world."

Sydney Weekender is on every Sunday at 5.30pm on the Seven Network in Sydney, and across N.S.W. & the A.C.T. on the PRIME Network. It's repeated a week later on 7TWO.

We're also on 7TWO on Saturdays - Please check your local guide for times.
