Instructors at Let’s Go Surfing in North Bondi have been teaching people to rip it up since 1993. Founder Brenda Miley started the company out the back of her Kombi van in an effort to encourage more women to surf. Let’s Go Surfing has since won many awards, including their third consecutive Gold award for Adventure Tourism at the NSW Tourism Awards. From humble beginnings, Let’s Go Surfing has grown to become one of the state’s top surf schools, with locations in Maroubra and Byron Bay. There are classes for all age groups, from children to adults. The school’s experienced instructors teach you the basics on the sand, then accompany you into the surf to put all these skills into practice. After a lesson with these guys, most people will experience the thrill of actually standing up on their board and riding a wave.
