It’s been running for nearly forty years and earned a place in the 2016 Guinness Book of Records for the largest amateur variety act, and now, after a couple of years off due to you-know-what, Schools Spectacular is back with a magical theme and ready to cast a spell on Australia!
This weekend Lizzy gets in on the act with the amazingly talented students during rehearsals at Qudos Bank Arena.
This world-class arena event is one of the largest of its calibre anywhere in Australia – and arguably the world – and is set to hit the stage in late November.
Each year this iconic cultural event incorporates over 5000 students from public schools and diverse communities all across NSW, so not only is the Schools Spectacular the perfect platform to produce and launch stars of the future, it also plays a major role in promoting inclusiveness and reconciliation, and this year features three signing choirs, The Disability Art Ensemble, The Aboriginal Ensemble, and a host of cultural representative groups.
